Tom Head

Distressing news from Barrie Reilly: "Very sad news. my good friend Tom Head passed away last night. hed been very ill for 6months. a wonderful carachter. so funny.hed do anything for you. a top drummer too. a real salford lad. He had his pride. he stood up to M.E.S. didnt put up with his antics! A true gentleman, and devoted family man.sleep tight Tom."

Thomas Patrick Murphy drummed for The Fall from 1998-2000 and also acted on Coronation Street, Emmerdale Farm, and The League of Gentlemen. He co-wrote one of the group's best songs, "Dr. Buck's Letter."

RIP Tom.
