01. White Lightning
(Richardson)
2:15
In North Carolina way back in the hills
Lived my pappy and he had him a still
He brewed white lightning 'til the sun go down
Then he'd get out a jug and pass it around
Mighty mighty pleasin'
Poppa kept a-squeezin' and called it
White Lightning
G-men, T-men, Revenue too
Searching for the place where he made his brew
They were lookin' tryna book him
But my pappy kept a-cookin' it
White Lightning
I asked my pappy why he called the brew
White Lightning's full of morning dew
Took one sip then I knew
When my eyes bulged out and my face turned blue
A city slicker came and said "I'm mighty tough,
I wanna get a taste of the powerful stuff"
Took one slug and drank it right down
And I heard him moaning as he hit the ground
Shout!
02. Blood Outta Stone
(Smith/Beddington)
3:35
Unfortunately I'm coming from a bad end
And I'm destined for a bad end
But hanging around with you is like blood outta stone
Getting stuff outta youse is like blood outta stone
Blood outta stone
You're history
You've quit existation
You're green grub
And if I had any guts
I'd turn those money tables up
You dis-corporate bore
You make me tired to the bone
Cos getting things outta you....
When all your friends have dissolved
And you're yakking on the phone
You're techno-grounded
You're blood outta stone
Might appear deranged
But you're blood outta stone
You're mutton dressed as lamb
Cos you're blood outta stone
At least I've got an aim, chick
Blood outta stone
But I'm working to an aim
03. Zagreb (Movement II)
(Smith/Schofield)
Walking at night past the closed shop
Behind the counter
Crouched a blue figure
It sang this song
You get five minutes with me
Then I'm off around the world
You get five minutes Johnny with me
Then off around the world
Open-plan graves
Blown-over trees
Muted mystics impasse
Glittering beach
Johnny he replied back
With me you struck a pact
ZV day
Five minutes with you
Then you're off around the worlds
Zagreb day
My neophyte
My sweetheart
My liebshen
My librium
My lover
My friends
You get five minutes with me
Then I'm off round the worlds
04. The Funeral Mix

06. Life Just Bounces
(Smith/Scanlon)
4:14
(in parallel)
Dr Boring had a relationship with the drug company too
And I'm half-associated with the Softness Group PLC
On TV today somebody claimed their dog
Had been molested by a textile chemist
But life just bounces so don't you get worried at all
Sometimes life just bounces so don't you get worried at all
The prescription's filled but I'm surprised at their standards
I watch with a tight lip, retina amazed
But life just bounces....
Come a light-brown varnish morn
London is full of people leaving their homes
They got lack of length in their beds and in their rooms
And the cops say don't dare leave your home
I tell yer, Life just bounces....
Dr John sez you are very ill
And your top-knot is in the region of your soul
I was vortexed I was going for a fall
But all music bounces, so....
I tell yer music bounces, so...
I tell yer all life just bounces, so...
All life just bounces
