- "Do 'Hey! Student', please. Can you turn to the audience please, Craig?" (before "Hey Student"; sounds like "Life Just Bounces" was going to be the next song)
"MES started throwing punches after Reckoning, the target of his venom being the soundman and Karl Burns, allegedly." This might account for the very short set. Although Jon followed up with "The Acropolis gig on Calton Hill was a blinder in spite of MES's bad mood. They played with two drummers, Brix had recently rejoined and the band played on quite some time after MES stormed off. He was eventually persuaded to carry on, so it wasn't actually that short a set in the end.
Stevie Miller: "Just a quick addendum to this gig, which was as absolutely riotous as listed. Two other things stick in the mind: One was the drunk punk who started dancing on stage with Mark E Smith, who then pushed him into one of the poles supporting the marquee…which then began to list in an alarming fashion. The other was the fact that the shortened set was also due to the Fall having to finish by 10.30pm as the marquee was then being used for a show by the laughable Peter Powers - Stage Hypnotist!"

Patrick Joseph: "I was pressed against the stage for that show with my then girlfriend Ruth. At the end of the program, she leapt onto the stage, and darted to the set list and grabbed it from where it sat. She was drug off and ejected from the venue at this point, forcibly ejected through the back exit. I honestly don't remember if she got the thing for me or not, as her actions were so erratic and chaotic. If someone does claim to have it, be assured that it was done in thick black marker in the style of the one shown for the 28 Jan show of that same tour. It is likely a bit crumpled. It was a wonderful performance, and I didn't even mind being snubbed when I said hello to Mark before the show. What else was he going to do?"
